Standards, Los Tranquilos was founded in 1996
by Martin Buschmann - Steeldrums, Ten. Sax.
and Wolfgang Groehl - Guitars.Since then 2 CDs were live - recorded:; Die hohe Kunst der Langsamkeit (The Art of beeing slow) and Horns of India, which is the result from a Trip through Indias Gujarat and Rajastan together with the good Friend and Painter Kevin Pearsh in 1999.
The latest Studio - Recording was released in 2003 featuring Martin Scheer on Contrabass, Joerg Dausend on Drums, Raphael Hidalgo on Perc. and the excellent Pianist Jin Urayama. This one is titled: Jazz to take away and includes the Egyptian Reggae.
